Ever since I started wearing makeup, I've always used the Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain since 1. liquid blushes last longer if without Foundation, and 2. it was always used up at the time when Body Shop sells it half-price, so naturally I bought the same.
Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain
I guess it was time that I finally explored other options: no Sale + a whole other selection of liquid (and cream!) blushes. I checked Benefit's benetint before and it roughly looks like the same color.
But then I passed by Etude House one day and thought I should look there for tints. I found one that looked almost exactly like the Body Shop one, and they had it in another color! It was half the price of Body Shop's half-price, so go!
Etude House Dear Darling Tint in Real Red
It had this really nice smell so I thought maybe this was really just a tint for the lips. I searched online and found out it was just for the lips. Boo. It does stay on the cheeks though so no problems with that.
Realization: check details first before buying. This was a lucky buy.
Years later, adding in the following tints that I have tried:
Tony Moly Water Jelly Tiny in Strawberry
Currently, Etude House Dear Darling Water Tint in Cherry Red
A new New Year's Resolution is revealing itself before my eyes: collect as many sale books as possible. I've bought more books these past two months than I did last year.
I hardly buy books in their original price except when I know they'll be my type of story. Sale things make me buy things I wouldn't really buy. I wouldn't feel too bad about getting a story that I did not enjoy because they're not so expensive. I'm glad the ones I got were pretty okay.
Anyway, I am looking forward to more book hunting in the future!
Last year, I planned an itinerary for a Nebraska trip to watch the National Figure Skating Championship this weekend. Everything was set, just needed the money. I told myself that I'd be able to collect enough for a trip without asking my parents. It was (kind of) possible but boo hoo, I guess it's not the time.
I usually just put up whatever calendar my mom gets from the bank or the drugstore when it becomes available. Last year, I put up a calendar in August. (I dunno why I didn't have until August :/) But now, I actually have one at the start of the year!
Every time there is a major event in my life, it doesn't go as peacefully as I would have liked. During the first day in college, I missed my first subject because I had to have my ID picture taken again. Apparently, some guy's photo appeared on my electronic ID. Crazy.
Today, I went to work for 30 minutes. Or less. I dunno...there was only an orientation. The guys I would be working with, all of them, weren't at the office. They told me to come work tomorrow, an hour later than I'm supposed to come in, to make sure that there's someone on my team who would be there.
